Sillustani is located about 34 km from Puno. This site used to be a large burial place built by the pre-Inca civilization of the Kollas.
The imposing funeral towers were installed for the last rest of significant religious personages. Surrounded by a wonderful countryside this place is located on a peninsula of Lake Umayo.
Our ancestors chose this place as an observatory and cult site. That is why this mysterious site is the ideal place to gather new energy.

  • 14:00hrs. : The visitors are picked up at their hotels in the Puno city center.
  • 14:30hrs. : Bus departure.
  • 15:30hrs. : Arrival in Sillustani.
  • 17:00 hrs. : Return toPuno.
  • 17:45 hrs. : Arrival at the hotels.
  • Included:transport, entrance and tourist guide in Spanish and English. 
  • Extra:Visitors staying at Libertador, Casa Andina Private Collection, Ecco Inn and Posada del Inca hotels pay an additional amount of $8.50 for transfer.
  •  Not included:tips, optional. 
  • We will contact you one day before to coordinate the tour taking place on the following day.
  • If the excursion takes place in the afternoon, we recommend you to take warm clothes (thick jackets etc.) as the weather can be very changeable throughout the year.
  • We recommend the use of suncream.

  • The timetables for the beginning of the excursion are variable, according to your availability and the number of persons.
  • As soon as we know the number of visitors we can inform you about the prices.
  • The tour to Sillustani can be done in direction of Puno – Juliaca airport or Juliaca airport – Puno.
  • The start of the excursion depends on the flight schedule.
  • The excursion lasts about 4 hours.
  • The excursion includes a visit (cultural encounter) to a local family.
